We had such a lovely Valentine’s dinner at Jarana Aventura. The vibe is very artistic and dynamic, the design and atmosphere make the whole experience feel special and elevated. We ordered the Valentine’s special platter (Bandeja), which was a great way to try a little bit of everything, beautiful presentation, variety and delicious flavors. The dessert (Chocolate Bomba) was amazing, and the pisco drinks were perfectly balanced and very tasty. Our server, Merly R, was friendly, cordial, and attentive without being pushy — just the right balance, which made the evening even more enjoyable. If you sit outside around sunset, the views are beautiful, and it’s surprisingly peaceful with minimal traffic, very relaxing and romantic. Overall, a wonderful experience. We’ll definitely be back!

My boyfriend and I had our Valentine’s day dinner here and, barring a few issues, we enjoyed our meal. First, the hostess claimed she did not have our reservation, but once I showed her my confirmation they were able to find it. Not a major issue. We had a table outside: sadly we were not able to experience the vibrant atmosphere and chic decor inside, but it was much quieter outside. Our waiter, whose name I didn’t catch, was friendly enough, but we did encounter some issues with the service. After ordering, it took our food quite a while to come out (I chalk that up to it being a busy holiday, that’s okay). We had the croquetas de aji de gallina and they were fabulous. My boyfriend ordered the ceviche Limeño and I ordered the Peruvian stir fried noodles for our entrees. The ceviche came out about 30 minutes before the other dish, and when my entree came out, it was the wrong dish! Our waiter was moderately apologetic and of course corrected the issue, but then we had to wait even longer for my food. From ordering to receiving my correct dish, it was about 1 hour 45 minutes. We also ordered the bomba de chocolate special for dessert and it was very unique and tasty. Overall, the food was very delicious, but the issues made the experience less than optimal!

I dine here with my family all the time, and we always get delicious food and amazing, attentive service. They really make us feel welcome. Among our favorite dishes are tiradito bachiche, churrasco chaufa, tenderloin anticuchos, and the milhojas dessert. Their chef collab events are delish too.

I really like this place, but for the price point, it feels too casual. Most main courses are $40+, which caught us off guard during a girls’ night out. Especially in Aventura, where there are so many strong dining options, it’s hard to justify those prices when nothing here feels particularly distinctive. That said, the food was genuinely delicious, the ambiance was pleasant, and the service was solid. No complaints there at all. It’s a good restaurant — just not quite special enough to match the cost.

Absolutely loved our experience at Jarana in Aventura. The food was delicious and truly authentic Peruvian cuisine, every dish was full of flavor and beautifully presented. A special shoutout to our server, Jorge Valdivia, who was outstanding. His food recommendations were spot-on. The outdoor patio is beautiful, with a great ambiance that makes it perfect for a relaxed dinner or a special night out. From the food to the service to the atmosphere, Jarana exceeded our expectations. We’ll definitely be back!

Amazing experience. Amazing food. Chef Martha is amazing, super attentive and her food is delicious. Our server was Joe and he's very knowledgeable about the menu, he gave us excellent recommendations. Cesar is also amazing and suck a sweetheart! 100% will come back! We had the green smoked dip, tuna tacos, the seafood stew, pesto pasta with NY, criollo platter and every dish was better than the last one. Can't recommend it enough

It was pleasant to sit in this place, with its calm atmosphere, cleanliness, and tidiness. The ceviche was delicious, the fish was fresh, the portion was not large, and perhaps the price was a little high. The soup was delicious, the portion was large and filling, and the cocktail was nothing special—neither particularly delicious nor unpleasant. It's a good place for an everyday lunch or dinner.
